Brainstorm research topics

Deciding on a research topic for your paper or project can be a challenge.   Let the ProQuest One Research Assistant suggest ideas based on an existing article.
	Find an article about an author that interests you. If you are looking for something specific, begin from the search box If you aren't sure, browse for an author and go to their author page
	Then, use the ProQuest Research Assistant to: Understand the main ideas and important concepts Click the Brainstorm Research Topics button to generate ideas Select one you like, then click the search icon to get a list of documents that are about that topic

Using Advanced Search to find Literary Criticism

Find historic and contemporary criticism to help you understand an author's work within its cultural context.  Use tools within Advanced Search to ensure you're targeting the right content.

1. Select Advanced Search from the ProQuest One Literature homepage.
2. Select Criticism from the left menu.
3. Choose Subject Heading - MAINSUBJECT from the dropdown menu.
4. Click Look up Subjects to select an author to search.  Type your author name into the search box last name, first name.
